Palmbladsskolan is a 6-9 school with approximately 580 students located in Årsta/Slavsta. Palmbladsskolan also has a unit that conducts distance education as special support. Job Description

As a teacher in sports and health at Palmbladsskolan, you will teach grades 6-9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in your subject in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are also a mentor for a class together with a colleague. You are part of a work team and subject team and participate in the school's overall work. We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operation. Together, we work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual circumstances.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the authority to teach sports and health in grades 6-9. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and the primary school's curriculum. The position requires good oral and written skills in Swedish. It is an advantage to have the authority to teach mathematics and science subjects. It is also advantageous to have IT skills with a focus on pedagogical work.

As a person, you communicate clearly and ensure that the message gets through. You clarify expectations and follow up continuously.
